Or in this case, no port in a storm. President Joe Biden’s handiwork is breaking up (as usual) and sinking (predictably) again. This time it’s a floating pier off the shore of Gaza. Just how much public money is Biden willing to spend to try and hang on to the Muslim vote in Michigan, Minnesota, and other swing states? To no one’s surprise, he’ll spend as much as it takes; going on $400,000,000 so far.

What kind of a return on our money has Biden made with his four hundred million dollar raid on the treasury (actually added to the national debt)? Well, it seems his Gaza relief “floating” pier was designed for smooth seas. Turns out it breaks up and sinks in three-foot seas on a coastline that regularly has waves higher than that.

No one is sorrier to see this than Hamas. However will they resupply their underground storehouses, keep their fighters well-fed, and control the Gaza population without all that Louisiana rice, those Idaho potatoes, and those Pfizer drugs?

This is beyond folly. It is foolishness to the point of insanity. First, to delay the eradication of Hamas, a terrorist organization, by giving aid to the enemy of our most reliable ally is despicable. This is only delaying sustainable peace for the civilian population of Gaza. Hamas won’t ever make peace with Israel.

Then there is Biden’s laughable attempt to deliver aid in the method most likely to fail. Gaza is not Hitler’s Fortress Europe with a fortified Atlantic Wall. In WWII with no other options we needed a floating harbor off the coast of Normandy in 1944. I’m sure Biden was hoping for a similar spectacular engineering achievement to woo a certain block of antisemitic voters, but it’s just another embarrassing failure by his administration.

Biden’s crack team may not have studied history, but the Mulberry harbor of 1944 didn’t hold up too long either. I know I’m just a deplorable threat to democracy to Biden-the-great-unifier, (alias Joe Jobs these days), but here’s an observation...

I checked my map. There seems to be a border between Gaza and Egypt. There is a road to this border. There is a gate there. Trucks could drive through the gate. But our Biden State Department can’t seem to swing a diplomatic stick to work out a deal with a fellow Muslim nation and have a cease-fire moment with Israel to get “aid” into Gaza. What does Egypt know that Biden doesn’t know?

I think the Egyptian government knows how stupid it is to try and buy Michigan votes with aid to Hamas. Far more pragmatic than Biden, Egypt fears a surge of radicalized fanatics rushing into Egypt by opening any gate into Gaza.

The truly tragic humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza has already occurred. The Gaza population has been thoroughly poisoned by generations of false teaching and propaganda. It started years ago in Gaza’s brainwashing primary schools, in the propagandized media, and from the hateful preaching of their religious and political leaders.

Recall that the “innocent” civilian population of Gaza celebrated the beastly, truly inhuman raid by Hamas “fighters” on actual innocent civilians on October 7, 2023. Gaza “civilians” held and are certainly still holding actual civilians (the ones who haven’t died yet) as kidnapped hostages. There are some actual innocents in Gaza to be sure, but one reaps what one sows. William Tecumseh Sherman was right when he said, “War is hell!” It’s best to end wars as quickly as possible either by absolute victory or by non-ambivalent terms. Control of any aid delivered to Gaza will be conscripted by and give comfort to Hamas as long as the hell of the war with Hamas continues.

The sinking pier off the coast of Gaza is just a symbol of the desperation in the Biden/Democratic Party’s struggle to stay in power. The effects of their bad policies, unwholesome values, and misplaced priorities are coming home to roost. All their panicked efforts to score political points are proving to be counterproductive.

Lawfare only boosts Trump in the polls and at the bank. Endorsements from actors and elites just highlight how out of touch the Democrats are with the middle and lower-income classes. The effects of criminals-first-without-consequences in long-time democratic controlled cities and states have more and more citizens fed up with their Soros-elected legal system. Inflation, groceries and gas aside has killed the hope of homeownership for many folks. Zero-down mortgages are setting us up for another 2008 housing crash. DEI is finally being successfully challenged as the failed, unconstitutional program it is. And as to the flood of illegals; it’s a crime of vast proportions in progress every day.

The Democratic machine’s response (politicians, media, actors, et al.) as they lose control of the narrative and collapse in the polls is predictable. There’s an ever-increasing barrage of incredible gaslighting lies about Biden’s “successes”, hysterical warnings about the consequences of the inevitable election of President Donald Trump, and willful blindness to Biden’s obvious mental and physical collapse. It’s all they’ve got, well, that and projection.

The left has overplayed their hand. The Democratic machine’s credibility is shot. In desperation, they will drop anchor at any port in a storm they have created for themselves.

P.S.

Did you hear about the Secret Service agent who was held up at gunpoint in California? (True story) Biden was begging donations from his out-of-touch elite actor friends at a big event while his Secret Service agent was being robbed. The robber said, “Freeze”, and the agent thought he was talking about Biden’s senior moment up on the stage.
