The Idaho State football team finalized its coaching staff by hiring JB Hall Jr. to coach the team’s safeties and be the co-special teams coordinator. The move was announced Friday by ISU. Hall replaces former safeties coach Jay Staggs.

POCATELLO — On Monday, Idaho State women’s basketball members were refreshing their internet browsers, anxiously awaiting to see what their futures held.

The Idaho State women’s tennis team lost a close match Tuesday at Grand Canyon University. The Bengals started play by winning the doubles point, but were outlasted by GCU in singles play, falling 4-3.

Longtime coach and ultra-runner extraordinaire Ty Draney is this year’s keynote speaker for the Idaho State Journal’s Sports Stars awards banquet in Pocatello. Draney is a native of Auburn, Wyoming, and attended Idaho State University and Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho).
