West Side High School senior sprinter Rachael Reeder signed to run for Dixie State University in April. She accepted a full tuition scholarship after checking into the school and meeting the team and coaches at a meet held at Utah State University.
Idaho State men’s basketball assistant coach Patrick Jensen has accepted an assistant coaching job with the University of Montana Western men’s basketball team. Jensen confirmed the news to the Journal on Saturday.
In March, Western Wyoming Community College contacted then-Preston senior Shaylee Priestley about joining the school’s girls basketball team. Western Wyoming invited Priestley to campus to work out with the team, and that was all she needed to decide to join the Mustangs’ program.
