Community Dinner Table Picnic

Community Dinner Table volunteers preparing a previous BBQ community picnic.

BLACKFOOT — Courthouse Square Park is where the Community Dinner Table will be hosting its annual free BBQ Picnic on Tuesday. Everyone is welcome to come, fill a dinner plate and meet a neighbor.

Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. — where there will be freshly grilled food, live music and conversation. The meal is provided free of charge, but organizers recommend you bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket for eating comfort.

The BBQ Picnic is the Community Dinner Table’s summer meal and a reminder that this fall on Tuesday, Nov. 4 it will begin regularly serving weekly free dinners until early spring. Through these winter dinners and year-round weekly food boxes provided each Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., it is continuing its commitment to help Bingham County residents.

The Community Dinner Table organization says it is here for you, it is here for the community.
