n City of Pocatello Japanese Sister Cities Delegates Meeting will be Wednesday at 7 p.m., Iwamizawa & Paradice Conference Rooms at Pocatello City Hall.
n The Monthly meeting of the local AARP, Chapter 288 will be held on Wednesday. Social hour will begin at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon. The menu will be chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, fruit, dessert and roll for the price of $6. The general meeting will begin at approximately 12:45 p.m. Members of the group will report on their recent Panama Cruise. Barry Knight will also be in attendance to discuss upcoming trips that his travel agency will be offering in the coming months. n Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 735 of Pocatello, meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. We no longer meet in the Veterans Memorial Building. n The Right To Dream will be presented by Living Voices at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at ISU College of Education auditorium, 62 E Terry Pocatello. Family or individual attendance is encouraged. The presentation reflects a young man’s coming of age in Mississippi during the 19502 and 60s civil rights movement. There is no fee for attendance.
n National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI SI) support group meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Life, Inc. 640 Pershing Ave. Family, friends and those in recovery dealing with mental illness are encouraged to come.
