n The Palace Playhouse will present “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” today and Wednesday with dinner at 6:15 p.m. and showtime at 7 p.m. The Palace Playhouse is located at 158 East Chubbuck Road. The play features local talent, and patrons can purchase tickets to the show or can also enjoy a dinner/theatre experience. n City of Pocatello Golf Advisory Committee Meeting will be Wednesday at 1 p.m., Community Recreation Center Conference Room.
n City of Pocatello Historic Preservation Commission Meeting will be Wednesday at 6 p.m., Council Chambers at Pocatello City Hall.
n City of Pocatello Japanese Sister Cities Delegates Meeting will be Wednesday at 7 p.m., Iwamizawa & Paradice Conference Rooms at Pocatello City Hall.
n The AARP, Chapter 288, will hold its monthly lunch and meeting on Wednesday at the Sr. Activity Center, 427 N 6th St, Pocatello, Idaho. Social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch being served at noon. The menu for lunch will be turkey and stuffing and gravy, vegetable, fruit, dessert, roll and beverage. The price for lunch is $6. The meeting will begin at 12:45 p.m. with a representative from the Social Security Administration speaking to us. He will give information and answer questions that members may have. n National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI SI) support group meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Life, Inc. 640 Pershing Ave. Family, friends and those in recovery dealing with mental illness are encouraged to come.
