Dear Anita,

Thank you for calling me a few weeks ago to remind me that my property TAX reduction papers were due soon. That reduction is a BIG DEAL to our household and to all seniors who own homes in Bannock County.

I hadn’t forgotten it … life’s distractions and emergencies just kept getting in the way. To get your phone call was such a surprise.

You didn’t need to do that.. We’re NOT friends or even acquaintances… You wouldn't recognize me in your office because I haven’t been in your office. You called me along with many others who may have forgotten something very important to them. THAT is public service.

I can’t tell you how impressed and grateful I was for your call and proud to live in a community where Public officials care and take action.

Thank you very much.
