Thursday, July 9Tom Catmull returns to ISU for the free Concert on the Quad at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 9. Catmull plays a blend of country, folk, pop, shuffles, waltzes, rock and more. All are welcome to attend.

There will be a Teen Splash Dance from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Pocatello Ross Park Aquatic Complex, 2901 S. Second Ave, for ages 12-17. The $6 admission includes DJ music, swimming and dancing. The concession stand is open for snacks and beverages.

Thursday, July 9-Saturday, July 18The Southeast Idaho Senior Games will take place Thursday, July 9, through Saturday, July 18. Friday, July 10Jim Dandy Brewing, 305 E. Lander St. in Pocatello, will host an eight-year anniversary party from 3 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 10. There will be new super tasty beers, special edition pints and live music starting at 6 p.m.

The movie “Eternity” plays at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 10, at ISU’s Bengal Theater. A woman who dies and must spend seven days in a bureaucratic afterlife deciding whether to spend forever with her husband of 50+ years or her first love who died a decade earlier. Admission is free for ISU students, $2 for ISU staff and $3 for the public.

There will be a show titled “Echoes of Us: A Queer Concert Experience” at 8 p.m. Friday, July 10, at the ARTitorium, 271 W. Broadway St. in Idaho Falls. This week’s Chubbuck Movies in the Park features “GOAT,” at dusk Friday, July 10, at Stuart Park, 5161 Stuart Ave. Attendees are asked to come early and bring their own chairs and/or blankets. Audience members may also bring games to play while waiting for the movie. All children must be accompanied by an adult. In case of inclement weather, movies will be rescheduled for the following Saturday at dusk. Admission is free.

Friday & Saturday, July 10-11The Westside Players will present “On the Verge or The Geography of Yearning” Friday and Saturday, July 10-11, at The Warehouse, 1009 S. Second Ave. in Pocatello. It’s 1888, and Mary, Fanny, and Alexandra are trekking in Terra Incognita, the last unexplored territory on Earth. Inspired by real-life 19th-century lady travelers. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner is served at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 for dinner and the show or $17 for the show only.

Pocatello’s second annual Neon Fest will take place Friday and Saturday, July 10-11, in Historic Downtown Pocatello, celebrating classic neon signs. Festivities begin at 8:30 p.m. Friday with a free guided Neon Sign Walking Tour starting at The Chief Theater sign. Saturday’s activities kick off at 6 p.m. at Lookout Point with food trucks, neon drinks, kids’ activities and live music by Old School Combo. The relighting of the restored Chopstick Cafe sign will happen at 8:30 p.m., followed by a showing of the movie “The Karate Kid.” Blankets and lawn chairs encouraged.

Saturday, July 11Tour De Small Towns, a road cycling adventure through the heart of Southeast Idaho’s most charming small towns, is set for Saturday, July 11. Riders will have the opportunity to explore scenic routes of 39, 89 or 150+ miles, making this ride accessible to cyclists of all skill levels. Races start at 6:30 a.m. at Skyline Park in Inkom. Sunday, July 12The Pocatello Municipal Band will present the second concert of the 2026 season of music in the park at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at Ross Park in the Guy Gates Memorial Band Shell.

Monday, July 13Curbside Cravings is open from 4 to 8 p.m. every Monday through September at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello. There will be a variety of food trucks.
