POCATELLO — A woman was rushed to the hospital Thursday night after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 in south Pocatello.

The woman was driving a Subaru Crosstrek compact SUV northbound on the interstate around 8:50 p.m. near Century High School when the vehicle left the freeway and overturned, Idaho State Police said.

The woman suffered injuries in the crash and was transported via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment. Her name and condition haven't been released.

The freeway was partially blocked for a short time as emergency crews worked the scene, authorities said.

The wreck remains under investigation by the state police.
