POCATELLO — There were four rail cars that derailed from a Union Pacific train Sunday evening at the Pocatello rail yard during switching operations.

The derailed rail cars and the small amount of powdered cement that spilled off of one car have been cleared, according to Union Pacific corporate relations member Tim McMahan.

McMahan stated there were no injuries from the derailment and the cause of the derailment is under investigation.
