Every day brings new measures to increase wind and solar as well as electric cars and other vehicles. Right now wind and solar make up about seven percent of our electrical energy production. You see these devices all over the country. Can you imagine what the country will look like when they reach their goal of 100% renewable?
Right now wind and solar cannot survive without coal, oil and natural gas. When the wind does not blow or the sun shine the difference has to be made up with fossil fuels. If we continue with this madness the rest of the nation will end up in darkness like Texas did last winter.
There are not enough natural resources in the world to provide for that amount of wind, solar and batteries. Plus much comes from countries that are not friendly to us.Â
Carbon dioxide is required for every plant on Earth. Our stand on renewable is just plain folly. We must take a stand in favor of hydropower, fossil fuel and nuclear.
The survival of our great nation depends on it.
