Cabin on Diamond Creek Road near Kendall Canyon in Caribou County.

Caribou County sheriff’s officials are investigating after bullet holes were found in a local cabin, and they are asking for the public’s help.

They say the shots, which struck the roof of the cabin located on Diamond Creek Road near Kendall Canyon, were likely fired from the street.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible, sheriff’s officials said. They’re asking anyone with information about the crime to contact them at 208-547-2561.

“You can remain anonymous or talk to the Sheriff about being eligible for the reward,” according to a news release. “Caribou County is too great to allow this type of criminal activity to occur.”
