Monte Vista Hills

POCATELLO — Monte Vista Hills has been part of the community for over seven years and continues to achieve great accomplishments in providing excellent care for their residents.

They were able to improve the quality of care provided to each resident and obtained five-star ranking with the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services in February 2016 and have maintained that level of care and ranking since then.

The five-star ranking for a Skilled Nursing Facility combines quality of care measures, staffing ratios and results from annual state surveys.

In July, Monte Vista had their annual survey with the state which is a week-long process or reviewing documentations, observing the care of residents, kitchen quality, cleanliness, appearance and many other areas. This year, Monte Vista received a zero deficiency survey. They are only the second building out of the state of Idaho’s 76 Skilled Nursing Facilities to reach this achievement in 2019.

Monte Vista is proud to be entrusted with the care of so many of the communities loved ones and look forward to providing excellent care for years to come.
