POCATELLO — The community is invited to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with Idaho State University at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. march and program Monday, Jan. 20.

Marchers will meet in the Reed Gym parking lot on ISU’s Pocatello campus at 12:30 p.m. The march will begin at 1 p.m. and participants will walk together to the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center, where there will be hot cocoa and a program at 1:30 p.m.

ISU President Robert Wagner and ASISU President Neelam Mishra will speak, along with other students. Keynote speaker Michael Strickland will speak on the topic, “Martin Luther King and The Promise of Democracy: Is the Dream Still Alive?”
