1st Street Storm Water/Sewer Project Update: This project is currently requiring the closure of the Center Street Underpass. We are excited to share that this project is ahead of schedule! The contractor has been making great progress and it looks like the project will be completed before mid-May. Until the Underpass reopens, please be sure to continue using the Benton St. or Gould St. Overpasses to visit your favorite Downtown businesses. They would love to see you!

Fun things to do Downtown this weekend include:

The Valentine Ballroom, 100 S. Arthur Ave., will be hosting their Spring Market on Saturday. This annual market will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will feature a variety of vendors with items perfect for Mother’s Day gift giving.

SRD’s Wild Reptile Adventure, 501 N. Main St., has announced they are now open on Saturdays! Stop in to visit this wild adventure and learn more about our reptile friends on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Portneuf Valley Environmental Fair will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Lookout Point. Admission is free for this fair celebrating Earth Week with a variety of resources and information available in our community, free food, live music, kids activities, and more!

The Crafter’s Market inside Station Square, 200 S. Main St., will be open on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This Market features handmade treasures crafted just for you. Be sure to stop by the Square to experience a magical blend of creativity and community.

Brick 243 Gastropub, 243 W. Center St., is hosting their weekly Five Course Dinner & Wine Pairing on Wednesday. The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. and reservations are required. Text 208-380-1072 to hold your table.

Barricade, 308 E. Center St., is hosting the final day of their Pinball Tournament on Wednesday. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the Tournament play beginning at 6:30 p.m. Buy in is $5 plus quarters to play. There are great prizes to be won! Be sure to try their new nachos while you compete!

Open Mic Jam Session happens every Thursday at Station Square. The evening starts at 7:00 p.m. Join in on a fun evening with open mic for poetry, stories, and of course music. Bring a friend and bring an instrument. If you’re hungry, The Nook will be open serving delicious menu items.

Round River Baking, 250 N. Main St., is open on Fridays from 4-6:00 p.m., or until sold out. If you haven’t tried their handcrafted breads and sweet treats, you should make it a point to stop in on Friday.

After the long winter, your favorite food trucks will be back! On Monday, May 5, the Pocatello Food Truck Round Up will open at Lookout Point. The Round Up will be open every Monday from 4-8:00 p.m. with a variety of trucks, family lawn games, fun music and a great time for all!
