Held Dec. 3 through 6 at the Needlecraft Building at the Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds, this festive event brings together dazzling décor, community creativity and the spirit of giving.

A holiday wonderland for all agesEach year, the Christmas Tree Fantasy transforms the Needlecraft Building into a breathtaking winter wonderland. Visitors can stroll through beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and holiday displays crafted by local businesses, organizations and community members. Every tree tells a story — brimming with lights, ornaments, themes and personal touches that capture the magic of the season.

The atmosphere is warm, joyful and filled with holiday cheer, making it a perfect outing for families, friends and visitors of all ages.

A tradition of community and givingThe Christmas Tree Fantasy has become more than just a display of festive décor — it’s a celebration of community spirit. Experience the magic of the Live Nativity at Jensen GroveDec. 20-21, 5 to 8 p.m.:The Christmas season in Blackfoot is made even more meaningful with one of our community’s most cherished holiday traditions — the Live Nativity at Jensen Grove. Taking place Dec. 20 and 21 from 5 to 8 p.m., this special event offers families and visitors a beautifully immersive way to experience the story of Christmas.

A journey through the Nativity

This year’s Live Nativity features a horse-drawn wagon ride that guides guests through multiple scenes depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. As the wagon moves along the peaceful paths of Jensen Grove, visitors can watch the Christmas story unfold through thoughtfully crafted live scenes, actors and animals that bring the timeless message to life.

The gentle pace of the wagon and the glow of the lights create a warm, peaceful atmosphere — perfect for reflecting on the true spirit of the season. It’s an experience that people of all ages can enjoy together.

Supporting the communityAdmission to the Live Nativity is a suggested donation of a boxed or canned food item. All donated items will go toward supporting local families through community food programs. By participating, attendees not only enjoy a beautiful Christmas experience but also help bring comfort and care to neighbors in need during the holiday season.
