Four Big Sky Conference football teams qualified for the FCS playoffs, and all four earned a top-six seed and first-round bye.

Weber State (9-3) earned the league’s automatic berth after winning a share of its third consecutive conference championship. The Wildcats, the No. 3 seed, split the title with Sacramento State (9-3), who earned an at-large berth and is the No. 4 seed. The Hornets are making their first-ever trip to the FCS playoffs.

Montana State (9-3) is back in the field as the No. 5 seed after upsetting rival Montana last weekend. The Grizzlies (9-3) are the No. 6 seed in their first postseason since 2015. Montana is making its 23rd playoff appearance, the most among the 24 teams in this year’s field.

North Dakota (7-4) also earned an at-large berth. The Fighting Hawks are an FCS independent, but played a Big Sky schedule this season. They face Nicholls State on Saturday in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

All first- and second-round games will be broadcast on ESPN3, and all FCS playoff games can be watched on the ESPN family of networks.
