The Syringa Elementary Vikings would like to recognize the Masons of the Portneuf Lodge No. 18 for providing two mountain bikes for our fifth-grade students who attained perfect attendance for the 2017-18 school year. Barrie Hunt at Barrie's Ski and Sports provided two excellent mountain bikes for these students along with helmets. The Masons also recognized a teacher from our school, Ms. Sharon Sanders and gave her a gift of $100 as our "Teacher of the Year." We appreciate their support and want to publicly give them a huge thank you. Masons believe in building upon education and we have benefited from that. Organizations like these convey the importance of education and attendance in our society.
