I guess I don’t get it. Why does the city of Pocatello need to spend up to 90K to develop a logo and tagline?

A simple design should be able to be done locally. Why not have a contest with the winner to get say $5,000.

You can’t tell me there aren’t local designers or people in the art department at the university that would not be able to create a logo and tagline.

90K is a lot of money and already allocated in the city’s budget. But they could rethink and go in a money saving direction.

We are still a small town. Let’s spend our tax money a little better than with this stupid idea.
