It is my honor to endorse Senator Jim Guthrie to be re-elected to represent the good people of Legislative District 28.
I have had the privilege of working with Jim for the past few years in the legislature. As I have watched him work in the Idaho State Senate and vote on the Senate floor, I have seen that Senator Guthrie votes on policy rather than identity. He is a good thinker and always puts the needs of his constituents first. Jim is fair and his word is his bond. It is these qualities and others that influenced Senate leadership to ask Senator Guthrie to serve as the Chair of the Senate State Affairs Committee; an assignment he accepted. This committee is one of the most difficult assignments in the Idaho legislature as it deals with the most controversial and complex issues that the state must deal with. It is Senator Guthrie’s duty as the chair, to filter through the “fluff”, get to the heart of serious legislation and bring stakeholders in to find solutions to problems. It is also his duty as a committee chair, to help other senators write better legislation and avoid unintended consequences. Senator Guthrie excels at this job. I can say that he is one of the best chairmen I have ever served with in my time in the Idaho State Senate. His committee runs smoothly and efficiently while giving the public every opportunity to be able to comment.
He is a phenomenal senator and leader that many of his colleagues and peers look up to. I am honored to be able to serve with Senator Jim Guthrie and respectfully ask the voters of Legislative District 28 to send him back to Boise for another term. Idaho needs the steady leadership of Jim Guthrie.

Guthrie is out for Guthrie. Remember, while we're paying almost $5.00 a gallon for gas, it was GUTHRIE who blocked 300 million in tax cuts. That's right, "Honest" Jim Guthrie has no problem with us paying more taxes. Real stand-up guy.
You know they're nervous when their colleagues are dropping letters to the editor. Vote David Worley for D28.
No. This perpetual loser is another magat.
