POCATELLO — Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man in a north Pocatello neighborhood.

The man's body was found by Pocatello police around 3:15 p.m. Sunday in a home in the 800 block of Park Avenue near Alameda Park, police said.

Police said the man was from Pocatello and they were responding to the home after receiving reports that he was deceased at the residence.

Police said the man's death is being investigated as suspicious but they are not releasing additional details at this time. The man's name has not been released.

Police said the incident does not pose any known threat to the public.

"All pertinent parties are being interviewed," Pocatello police said in a Sunday night news release.
