AMERICAN FALLS — A missing American Falls woman has been found safe.

Miranda Corene Royer, the mother of four children, was reported missing from American Falls earlier this month. Her family members and local police reached out to the public for help in locating her.

American Falls Police Chief Brandon Wilkinson says they’ve since learned that Royer, 34, is in New York on her own free will and she is safe.

Wilkinson expressed his appreciation to law enforcement organizations in that state for their assistance, including the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, Syracuse Police Department and New York State Police.
