Ex-ISU head backs med school

POCATELLO - One of Richard Bowen's crowning achievements as president of the University of South Dakota was overseeing the expansion of its medical school from a two-year to a four-year program.

The format employed in South Dakota should sound familiar to Pocatello residents: They used the so-called distributive model.
