POCATELLO — One person was transported to the hospital after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Chinook Street in South Pocatello on Thursday afternoon.

The wreck was reported at approximately 1 p.m.

The crashed occurred after the driver of a Volkswagen Jetta struck a large rock next to a tree and rolled over, eventually coming to rest on its wheels.

No other vehicles were damaged in the wreck and there were no other reported injuries. 

The male driver of the Jetta was transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. The driver’s identity and the extent of his injuries have not been released.
