BOISE - Idaho teachers of all grades and disciplines can apply to attend the Idaho Humanities Council's summer institute, "Storm Center: The History of the Supreme Court," scheduled July 12 to 17 at the College of Idaho in Caldwell.
Application deadline is March 20. Successful applicants will receive free lodging and meals, texts and a college credit option.
Lead scholars for the institute include David Adler, professor of political science at Idaho State University and Steve Shaw, professor of political science at Northwest Nazarene University. Keynote speaker will be David O'Brien, author of "The Storm Center: The Supreme Court in American Politics."
Other speakers include Nancy Kassop, State University of New York, Kerry Hunter, College of Idaho, Don Crowley, University of Idaho, and Marc Johnson, the Gallatin Group.
