Montana never trailed in Friday's 78-49 win over Weber State in the Big Sky Conference tournament semifinals at CenturyLink Arena in Boise.

The top-seeded Grizzlies (25-8) led 42-22 at halftime and widened their lead to as large as 76-39. The fourth-seeded Wildcats (18-15) shot 31.5 percent from the floor.

Ahmaad Rorie scored a game-high 28 points for UM, which plays Eastern Washington in Saturday's title game.

EASTERN WASHINGTON 77, SOUTHERN UTAH 61

Eastern Washington buried 10 3-pointers in Friday's 77-61 win over Southern Utah in the Big Sky Conference tournament semifinals at CenturyLink Arena in Boise.

The third-seeded Eagles (15-17) scored 26 points off of 14 Southern Utah turnovers. Seventh-seeded SUU (16-15) trailed by as many as 21 points.

EWU was led by Mason Peatling's 20 points and seven rebounds. Kim Aiken added a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double. The Eagles face top-seeded Montana on Saturday in a rematch of last year's conference championship game.
