The City of Pocatello and Pocatello Police Department have been made aware of an allegation that the Federal Immigration & Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) detained an individual in our community.

After thoroughly researching the allegation with Federal, State, County, and other local law enforcement officials, we have determined this information to be false.

We can find no evidence of ICE undertaking such actions in Pocatello. Further, Pocatello Police and no other law enforcement agency in our area have been involved in an ICE operation.

The Mayor and Police Chief are committed to the safety and welfare of the community. The protection of our citizens is our top priority.

ICE has been seen in Aberdeen, American Falls AND Pocatello. Dont let these guys fool you into letting your guard down!! RAIDS ARE HAPPENING
