Golden Globe winner, "Bohemian Rhapsody" will play at the Pond Student Union's Bengal Theater this Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., with 9:45 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday. This biopic based on true events about the band "Queen" and front man Freddie Mercury follows the rise of their greatest hits until the time of Queen's acclaimed performance at the Live Aid concert for world hunger. Admission is $3 for the public, $2 for ISU staff and free for ISU students with Bengal ID.

The ISU Faculty String Chamber Recital with guests from the Idaho State-Civic Symphony, will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Stephens Performing Arts Center Jensen Grand Concert Hall. The recital will feature violins, violas, cellos, and guitar, featuring works by Mario Catelnuovo-Tedesco and Mendelssohn. Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for ISU faculty and staff, $5 for precollege students and free for ISU students. Children under 6 are not admitted.

And on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. in Goranson Hall is the ISU Alumni Scholarship Recital, featuring Kyle Aho on Jazz piano. There is no admission prices listed, but donations are accepted. Children under 6 are not admitted.

Golden Globe nominated "The Old Man & the Gun," is the feature this Sunday, January 20, at 4:30 and 7 p.m. in the Bengal Theater. Robert Redford's final movie role is based on the true story of Forrest Tucker and his audacious escape from San Quentin at the age of 70 to perform an unprecedented string of heists that confounded authorities and enchanted the public. Idaho State Men's Basketball plays host to University of Northern Colorado on Monday, Jan. 21, at 7 p.m. in Reed Gym. All ISU Staff and Faculty receive free admission with their school ID, while families receive our discounted $8 ticket rate. Regular prices run $17 for adults and $10 for children and seniors, while ISU students get in free with Bengal ID.

The annual Martin Luther King Jr. March is also on Monday, with the marchers meeting on the south side of Holt Arena between 12:30 and 1 p.m. The march will begin right at 1 p.m. and head to the Stephens Performing Arts Center, where a memorial program

begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Bistline theater. Transportation back and refreshments will be provided.

The ISU Outdoor Adventure Center is going cross country skiing. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to participate. Upcoming trips are to Yellowstone National Park, Jan. 26 and 27, and the Catamount yurt trip, Feb. 1 and 2. Enjoy the beauty of Yellowstone National Park skiing along the Madison River, spending the night at a bunkhouse in West Yellowstone. Or spend an evening “Yurt Style” at the Catamount Yurt. The route to the yurt follows a snowbound road for two and a quarter miles over rolling terrain, with spectacular views overlooking the Marsh Valley and the Portneuf and Bannock Mountain Ranges.
