BLACKFOOT — The University of Idaho Extension will hold a freezer meal cooking class 6:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Bingham County Extension, 412 W. Pacific St. in Blackfoot. Julie Buck, University of Idaho family and consumer sciences educator, will teach the class.

Attendees can make three soups to take home — chili, squash and tortellini. Attendees are asked to bring a cooler with ice.

Dinner will be served.

The cost of the class is $30. Scholarships are available.

Register by Jan. 23.
