CHUBBUCK — The North Bannock Fire Department Firefighters Association exists to support the members of the fire district it serves. Please join the association Saturday at 11 a.m. at the North Bannock Fire Department located at 444 E. Chubbuck Road in Chubbuck (across from Soda Barn) for a cookout fundraiser.

Come check out the station and let the kids get some photos with the trucks and firefighters. Barbecue food options are available starting at $3 for hot dogs and $5 for hamburgers with chips and a drink. Donations are always welcome.

The association has maintained an assistance fund over the past four years to help individuals and families in need within the fire district. The association is funded through donations and fundraisers held in the community. The association is working to rebuild the assistance fund and would appreciate the support of its upcoming cookout fundraiser.

This fund has been used to help those affected during unexpected events, such as a house fire. It has also been used to help provide coats and warm clothing for children within the district during the fall and winter months. The fund has also provided Thanksgiving meals and holiday gifts for families who have found themselves going through difficult financial circumstances. The association is funded through donations and fundraisers held in the community.
