SODA SPRINGS — The Friends of the Soda Springs City Park have components waiting to be adopted for the new Caribou CommUNITY Playground. Your sponsorship of these components will be recognized on the Friends of the Soda Springs City Park website, on the donor wall and with a plaque. Playground components that need to be adopted:

The multi-generational swings allow adults to swing in a belt seat, eye-to-eye with a child swinging in a toddler seat and is available for sponsorship. Cost to sponsor two expression swings is $5,300.

The all-ability space whirl is a great addition to any playground where space is limited, allowing children of all abilities to play alongside each other and is available for sponsorship. This merry-go-round has one wheelchair station, standing space and two seats, one of which has a support ring for toddlers. It is also flush to the ground. Cost to sponsor is $10,000.

Little kids love to corkscrew their way to the ground on this exciting climber which is available for sponsorship. Cost to sponsor the corkscrew climber is $1,300.

The overhead spinners are designed to work children’s upper body strength as they hold themselves up and onto the spinner using their arm and shoulder muscles while having fun. Cost to sponsor the overhead spinners is $2,200.

Swinging is not only fun, but it helps children achieve sensory and developmental skills. The therapeutic swing provides back support for children who do not have the muscle strength to sit in a swing independently and calms children with sensory disorders. Cost to sponsor the therapeutic swing is $4,500.

Tire swings are a favorite on any playground. Cost to sponsor is $4,600.

Climbing is an awesome way to help kids develop coordination and motor planning skills while using both sides of their bodies. The geyser rock climb will feature a geyser theme where kids can imagine climbing to the top of the geyser. Cost to sponsor the geyser rock climb is $1,800.

The Bear River Bouncy Log encourages the development of balance and coordination. Cost to sponsor the bouncy log is $1,300.
