With all the new electronics sold

Included should be a six-year-old

To help the needs of us old goats

Who cannot program a new remote.

Off/On and Volume we understand

The other buttons are no man’s land.

We find ourselves hardly able

To find all the stations on the cable

Not to mention a constant wish

To control the programs found on Dish.

To change from “channels” to DVD

Remains a senior’s mystery!

Can’t figure out delay, replay, record;

We’re doing well to plug in the cord!

And for sure we need a kid’s advice

On which remote goes to which device.
