POCATELLO — Pocatello’s 2 Great 4 Hate organization is offering a workshop for the community on discrimination and how to make our town more welcoming of diversity.

Adrienne Evans, executive director of United Vision for Idaho, will facilitate the workshop at Liberty Hall from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 26. The training will be about understanding and confronting discrimination. Youth and adults are invited to participate.

This is a program of United Vision for Idaho, in partnership with the Wasmuth Center for Human Rights. United Vision for Idaho has been providing workshops and trainings to thousands of students and hundreds of leaders and community members statewide over the past year.

The 2 Great 4 Hate organization, formed in 2010, has a mission to celebrate and value human diversity and advocate for fair and equal opportunities for all. The group has been instrumental in bringing Steve Wessler, a human rights educator to Pocatello for several visits.

They are now happy to welcome Adrienne Evans to help Pocatello be a community that values kindness and overcomes incidents of bias, harassment and hate.
