Four people, including two linked to France's extreme right, have stood trial in Paris for the killing of former Argentina rugby player Federico MartÃn Aramburú. The trial began on Monday, more than four years after Aramburú was shot dead in March 2022. Aramburú was killed as he left a bar in Paris. Loïc Le Priol is being prosecuted for murder. Romain Bouvier faces attempted murder charges. Le Priol’s former girlfriend and a fourth defendant face charges related to complicity and concealing evidence. A verdict is expected on Sept. 25.
