Coach Dick Advocaat has extended his contract with Curaçao until July 2027, according to the country's federation. Advocaat, 78, set a record as the oldest-ever coach at the World Cup this summer. He returned in May after resigning earlier due to a family health issue. The federation said Curaçao has made important strides under his leadership. Curaçao earned its first-ever World Cup point with a draw against Ecuador in June but finished bottom of Group E. Advocaat looks forward to building on their achievements. He plans to announce his squad for the CONCACAF Nations League on Friday.
