The Milwaukee Brewers have placed pitcher Grant Anderson on the 15-day injured list with right biceps inflammation while recalling pitcher Brandon Sproat from Triple-A Nashville. Anderson threw a season-high 44 pitches and matched a season high by working 2 2/3 innings Sunday in the Brewers’ 12-8 loss at Cincinnati. The 29-year-old right-hander is 3-3 with a 3.36 ERA in 52 appearances this season. Sproat went 3-7 with a 5.27 ERA with Milwaukee earlier this season.
