Ashlyn Winn (Highland) – North Idaho College

Highland graduate Ashlyn Winn finished a memorable season with the North Idaho College softball team.

Her squad went 50-3 and clinched a Northwest Athletic Conference championship Monday, beating Lower Columbia 8-5 in Spokane, Washington. The freshman outfielder was also named an NWAC East Region first-team selection after she recorded a .432 batting average, 73 RBIs, 70 hits, 60 runs and 20 homers.

Winn’s best NWAC tournament performance was in a 10-0 first-round win over Columbia Basin on May 19, when she tallied three hits, six RBIs, three runs and two home runs in three at-bats.

Hannah McInturff (Century) – University of Utah

Century graduate Hannah McInturff competed in her final Pac-12 track and field championships, which took place May 12-13 at Palo Alto, California.

The senior runner finished 17th in the 1,500-meter race, completing the race in 4 minutes, 32.95 seconds. She also placed 23rd in the 5,000 with a time of 17:21.10.

Utah continues its season at the NCAA West Preliminary meet May 24-26 in Sacramento, California.

Jayden Benson (Highland) – Centralia College

Highland graduate Jayden Benson completed her freshman season with the Centralia College softball team.

The outfielder had 43 hits, 11 extra-base hits, 41 runs, 39 RBIs and a .307 batting average. On her final day of the season, Benson had one of her best performances. She tallied four hits, two runs and an RBI in a 12-4 win over Highline on May 19 in the loser’s bracket of the NWAC tournament in Spokane, Washington.

Centralia was eliminated in the next round and finished the season 24-20.
