Kids First Cast announced in a press release it will be partnering up with the Owyhee County volunteer sheriff department for their annual LeRoy Breshear’s Memorial fishing day for all the local area kids. This has always been a fun event for everyone. Idaho Fish and Game usually stocks the pond with catchable trout. Last year some nice fish were caught by the kids with the help of some of the parents and KFCI.

KFCI will be providing rods and reels for anyone needing one. Worms from the Worms Factory will be handed out by volunteers. If any kids need help or instructions we will be there to help them or their parents. KFCI will be bringing the trailer with rods and equipment needed for the event. Also donated rods and reels will be given to anyone who may need one or cannot afford them.

Set up time at Marsing has been set for 8 a.m. that morning. If you would like to help please contact us or just come that morning. Need people to help set up canopy, cut worms, help kids and take off fish, if needed. There will be lunch served by the Owyhee County Volunteer Sheriff’s Posse at the park.
