Property PROS Realty, a real estate business based in Montpelier that has worked with customers in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming, has reached 13 years of helping customers find homes.

Devin Skinner, one of the owners of Property PROS Realty, said the company, which opened in 2011, is a family business that is run by him, his father and his sister.

Skinner said the business is involved in several aspects of the real estate industry, including commercial, residential and farm and ranch.

“We do property management on the side,” he said.

Throughout their years in business, Property PROS has been involved in several projects, including the upcoming Latter-day Saints Temple being built in Montpelier.

“I helped the LDS Church acquire the property where the temple is at,” he said. “That was kind of a big deal to work with the church.”

Skinner said he and his family have been successful at running their business. In 2019, he was named one of the top 10 real estate agent in Idaho, and in 2023, he was named one of the top 100 real estate agents in Utah.

“My father has been a top selling and listing agent in Idaho for the last 25 years,” he said.

Skinner said the best part about operating Property PROS is that he is able to work with his family. He said he has worked with several other people during his career, but he is happiest working with his family.

“I love working with my family,” he said. “It’s different and better working with your family.”

Skinner said he also likes owning his business.

“Owning your own business is kind of stressful, but it’s also very rewarding,” he said.

Skinner said Property PROS hopes to keep selling real estate. They have plans to build more townhouses in Montpelier soon. He said they hope to continue to watch Montpelier grow as a community, and they hope to expand elsewhere.

“We’re licensed in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming,” he said. “We hope to keep expanding to other areas.”
