LAVA HOT SPRINGS — Local businesses have donated their time and products to create Lava Hot Springs Beer Festival. It will be Aug. 29 from 3 to 8 p.m., behind Sunnyside Sinclair in Lava Hot Springs. Tickets are $25 each and you must be 21 years of age or older.

This event will be a platform for the beer community to come together to enjoy what they love, beer. Eighty-five percent of the proceeds will benefit charities such as the Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse Center, The south Bannock Historical Center, The National Turkey Confederation, and Veterans POW*MIA.

There will be more than 35 beer selections to try, a Beer Pong tournament, Flip Cup tournament and you can ask brewers anything about their beers.

Some of the beers available will be Wasatch Brewing plus beers from Sawtooth Brewing, Deschutes, Grand Teton Brewing, Mad Bomber Brewing , Squatters Brewing, and Pocatello’s own Portneuf Valley Brewing.
