SALMON — A family dog named Gizmo was stabbed and skinned in Salmon, and now the deceased dogs owners are demanding justice.

According to a GoFundMe account created by Mike Bradford, money is being raised for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual who killed Gizmo.

“He has been a family dog that was always very happy and loved to be loved,” the message on the GoFundMe said. “His life was cut short by a sick human being that climbed over our back yard fence and killed him.”

Since the GoFundMe account was launched on Wednesday, more than $1,000 has been raised toward the $2,500 goal.

If nobody comes forward with information on Gizmo’s killer, Bradford said the money raised will be donated to the local animal shelter.
