IHS donations stolen

The Idaho Humane Society reported someone stole aluminum cans from the facility Thursday.

Donated aluminum cans were stolen from the Idaho Humane Society Thursday, according to a Facebook post from the organization.

Through the program, the Facebook post states the humane society raises about $800 per month with the community's help.

The organization has reported the incident to police and states it will add extra security measures to the collection area.

People can donate aluminum cans to the humane society by dropping cans off at the main facility located on Dorman Street in Boise or at any Zamzows in the Treasure Valley.
