BOISE — Want to fly south for the winter? A new direct flight will help.
The Boise Airport on Tuesday announced that Alaska Airlines will offer nonstop service from Boise to Honolulu beginning Dec. 17. The daily, seasonal flight will be offered through the winter to March 21.
“We’re excited that Alaska Airlines will offer daily nonstop service to Honolulu,” Kathleen Watkins, interim director of the Boise Airport, said in a news release. “Hawaii is consistently one of our passengers’ most requested destinations, and we’re thrilled to see this highly anticipated route become a reality.”
The Honolulu addition gives BOI 29 direct-flight destinations. The route is now available for booking on alaskaair.com and hawaiianairlines.com.
