Highland junior Tommy Togiai was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl next January in San Antonio, Texas. The Rams defensive tackle announced the news Monday on Twitter and confirmed to the Journal on Wednesday he has committed to play in the game.

The All-American Bowl features 100 of the best prep football players in America each January. Players are selected by invitation only. The game has featured NFL stars such as Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson and Ezekiel Elliott and is broadcast live on NBC from the Alamodome. Highland graduate Tristen Hoge played in the 2015 edition.

Next year’s game takes place Jan. 16 at 11 a.m. Mountain Time.
