Several members of the Dance Factory Dance Studio in Chubbuck turned in top performances during the 24 Seven Dance Convention on Nov. 11-13 in Reno, Nevada.

Highland High School senior Jaida Underwood placed first in the senior category and received the highest stop-the-clock rating for her solo. Alysa Randall, also of Highland High School, received a high gold and took seventh place. Emma Schrade of Franklin Middle School placed fourth overall in the teen category. Kara Barlow of Hawthorne Middle School took third overall in the teen category. Alyssa Pena of Irving Middle School took second overall in the teen category. Ella Schrade took fourth overall in the junior category. Analiese Pena took ninth overall in the mini category. Eva Schrade took third overall in the mini category. The younger dancers attend the Montessori School at Tyhee Elementary.

Full tuition scholarships were awarded to Kara Barlow and Alyssa Pena. Runner-up scholarships were awarded to Jaida Underwood, Paige Hymas, BayLee Cornelison, Jillian Brown, Hana Little, Emma Schrade, Ella Schrade, Analiese Pena and Eva Schrade. Hailey Coffman earned a tap scholarship, Natalie Tolman earned a contemporary/jazz scholarship and Alyssa Randall earned a ballet scholarship.

The Dance Factory is performing its Christmas preview show Saturday inside Frazier Hall’s auditorium at Idaho State University. Performances are at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
