Premier Eye Care of Eastern Idaho is set to hold a groundbreaking Friday at a new location that will offer more space for the growing business to care for its patients.

Courtney Rigby, office manager of Premier Eye Care, said the groundbreaking for the new clinic is set for 3:30 p.m. Friday at 5640 Harvest Springs Boulevard in Chubbuck.

“Right now, we’re on East Clark Street,” Rigby said. “We’ll move out of this building into the new clinic, and we’ll have a surgery center next to us as well.”

According to Satterfield Realty’s website, Harvest Springs is a unique community currently being built in Chubbuck under the Creative Community zoning.

Creative Community is a new zone in the city of Chubbuck that is focused on community living with parks and open space, rear loaded garages and decorative front porches. The community will feature both residential and commercial properties.

Rigby said she looks forward to having the extra space that the new clinic will provide. She also looks forward to having a more updated clinic for the patients.

“We’re just in this little building and we’ve just grown out of it very quickly,” Rigby said. “We need more space.”

Once construction starts on the new building, it is expected to be completed in February of 2026. Once completed, the clinic on East Clark Street is going to close.

“As soon as they’re finished, we’ll move everything out of here,” Rigby said.

Rigby encouraged everyone to come to the groundbreaking. She said there will be hot dogs for the people who attend.

“Come grab hot dogs and shovels,” Rigby said.
