If you have a lawn, you most likely have a lawn mower. As you know, anything with a motor will need to be serviced or repaired at some point. This is where LG Bumgarner comes into play.

I met LG the first winter I moved to Blackfoot. I had left my snowblower up north and needed a new one. Always looking for a small, local business to support, my late husband and I discovered Mowers-N-More.

His store is filled with snowblowers, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, chainsaws and all manner of parts to fix them.

LG has been in the repair business most of his life. He started out working at his uncle’s shop in Shelley, but soon wanted to move on. At that time, Mr. Mower in Blackfoot was owned by Gary Gillins, and LG proved himself by looking up parts and doing repairs. When Gary offered him a job, he gladly accepted. Working his way up through the company, Bumgarner purchased the business in 2002 and changed the name to Mowes-N-More.

The shop is always busy with small engine repairs. Many commercial accounts rely on Mowers-N-More to get them back up and running and to keep their equipment in good working order.

The typical turnaround time for most repairs is about seven days, depending on the item.

Of course, the busiest time of year is from early spring to the end of September. And during a normal winter season, he keeps busy with snowblower repairs.

LG also sells a wide range of new equipment. Cub Cadet, Toro and Echo are his most popular brands. From large commercial use to the homeowner, he has what you need.

The shop employs about four to five mechanics during the summer and also offers pickup and delivery services. For those who don’t own a truck, like me, that’s a big bonus.

Bumgarner also has used equipment for sale for those who can’t afford a new item. This is a good place to look.

Honesty and customer service are big reasons Mowers-N-More does such a great job. A couple of years ago, I was having problems with my riding lawn mower and thought I was going to have to buy a new one, but LG offered that it would be less expensive for me to repair the one I had rather than buy a new one, so that’s what I did, and I’m still using it to this day.
