• The monthly AARP lunch and meeting will be held Wednesday at the Senior Activity Center, 427 N. Sixth Ave. in Pocatello. Social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch being served at noon. Salisbury steak, potatoes and gravy, vegetables, fruit, and dessert will be served for $6. The meeting will begin at approximately 12:45. There will be a speaker on prepaid funeral expenses and planning.

• The Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers at Pocatello City Hall.
