n Puerto Vallarta is hosting a free community Thanksgiving meal today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 160 W. Cedar St. in Pocatello.

n In 1992, three Pocatello musicians got together and formed the blues band, Unknown. The Unknown would like invite all friends, fans or anyone wanting to enjoy a night of great music to the First National Bar in Pocatello on Friday at 9 p.m. for the Unknown’s 25th anniversary party.

n Old Town Pocatello Christmas Night Lights Parade will be Friday at 6:30 p.m. The parade will begin at East Center Street and South Third Avenue and will make its way under the Center Street underpass to Main Street past the Old Town Pavilion. Santa will arrive at Station Square at 3 p.m. that day and will visit with kids until the beginning of the parade.
