Ashlyn Winn (Highland High) – North Idaho College

Highland graduate Ashlyn Winn helped guide the North Idaho softball team to its second consecutive Northwest Athletic Conference championship on Monday in Spokane, Washington.

The sophomore infielder had two hits, two runs and an RBI in three at-bats in a 9-1 title win over Edmonds. She also added a homer to give her 27 for the season, tied for first in the NWAC.

This season, Winn tallied a .404 batting average, 69 hits, 43 extra-base hits and 75 RBIs.

Trent Cooper (Pocatello High) – Treasure Valley Community College

Pocatello graduate Trent Cooper made the Northwest Athletic Conference East Region Gold Glove team this month for a successful season with the Treasure Valley baseball team.

The sophomore infielder had the second-best batting average (.284) and third-most hits (38) on his team.

His best performance was in a 7-6 home win over Walla Walla on May 8, when he had a season-high four hits and one run.

TVCC finished the season 14-33.

Hadlie Henderson (Blackfoot High) — College of Southern Idaho

Blackfoot graduate Hadlie Henderson was named to the NJCAA Region 18 first team for the Southern Idaho softball team this month.

The sophomore pitcher finished with the second-most wins in the conference with a 14-4 record. She also had a 4.59 ERA and 40 strikeouts.

CSI finished the season 38-22 after falling 10-5 to Salt Lake in the NJCAA Region 18 championship game on May 10.
